Lesley Roy is a pop singer from Balbriggan in Dublin, Ireland. Before you create an incorrect image of this artist, I have to tell you her songs have a lot of powerpop and rock influences as well. Let’s just say her genre is pop/rock, I think that’s a way better description. Lesley is signed and liscensed with Religion Music, Zomba Label Group and Jive Records. She was born on September 17, 1987.

Lesley’s musical life started when she was very young, which is no surprise knowing that her mother was a singer as well. Lesley started learning how to play the guitar when she was seven years old, and also songwriting was something she was already devoloping at young age. At only 15 she recorded some demos with Rory O’Connor, which soon led to a deal with Religion Music Label. Jive Records A&R Jeff Fenster agreed to finance the first album project.

After two years of working on the album, the debut album was released. September 30, 2008 must have been an unforgettable day for Lesley Roy.
